The King’s Nursery School is an English medium school that offers a comprehensive program to prepare the children for life. Our classes start from 3 months old and continue to age 4 (Grade RRR). We pride ourselves in the small classes that provide each learner with the individual attention and solid Christian foundation.

We believe that children in the Nursery School Phase learn best through play. Through our fun-filled play directed lessons children are taught all sorts of skills from social interactions to problem solving and even important academic concepts like mathematics, science and language skills. The emphasis is on physical involvement and the actual doing of the activity or concept that is taught. Play and exploration are of the utmost importance for the child’s development. We will provide a loving and nurturing environment for your child ensuring that they develop holistically and are ready for their next step into the formal teaching environment.

Extra-Curricular Activities

All our extra mural activities are provided for within school hours by various external companies. Payment for these activities should be paid directly to the service provider directly. Currently our extra-curricular are currently as follows:

• Tiny Tutus
• Dance Mouse
• High- 5 Pandas
• Buzzi Bodies (Co-curricular) *

* Buzzi Bodies should form part of our Gross Motor Programme and is included in our school fee.

Aftercare

This service exists to support parents who are unable to care for their children during weekday afternoons and is held on the Nursery School premise. It aims to provide a structured, safe, disciplined and stimulating environment. After school the children are given a cooked meal and some juice and supervised from 13:30-17:00. A Late collection penalty will be charged to your account if you collect your child late. This service is also available at an ad hoc basis.
